Root, root, root for the home team ...

Our first Canadians ballgame – final score 11-4 for the C's.
So much fun and fab entertainment if you ever get the chance. The last time we were at this stadium was to see the Moody Blues (in the pouring rain!).
Tuba player. I took this picture when she was playing (at less than a slow waltz beat) All My Lovin' by the Beatles. There are no words!
The obligatory beer, pretzels and peanuts.
First pitch of the game!
The crowd goes wild ... well, maybe a bit more subdued than wild!  Sheesh, don't they get it!
Home run – 3 RBIs! Yay Canadians!!!

Welcome to the 'hood

We are now living in a pretty cool ‘hood. We have a “place” where people know our names. Tomato has the best Margharita pizza going! The tomatoes are sweet, the basil fragrant, the cheese is just enough and the crust is thin and crispy. Let’s just say it’s not even worth mentioning the other pizza places in the ‘hood.

We first went here with Jill and Larry but now we are just regulars.  We even have a regular table.  Mmmm ... I think I know what's for dinner tonight!

Then there's the beach - we live a mere 3 blocks from the beach!  We do take in the summer sunsets quite often.

And the sunrises!

Can't forget about the mouth-watering croissants at Baguette & Co.  I think I have tasted a croissant at every place in Vancouver and there are simply none as good as these.

I will continue to post about the 'hood because it's just so darn fabulous!
